Now, we're combining this with an AI-driven approach to design, demand sensing, and production—to build faster, smarter, and more relevant fashion.
What this role really is
This is not an operations manager role.
You will own the entire backend engine of the business—from order to delivery, returns to refunds, warehouse to customer experience.
You are responsible for building and scaling a zero-to-one operations system that can handle growth without breaking.
What you will own
Ecommerce & Order Flow:
- End-to-end order lifecycle management (order dispatch delivery returns)
- Platform coordination (Shopify / marketplaces / OMS tools)
- Ensuring high order accuracy & low cancellations
Warehouse (In-house + 3PL):
- Set up and manage in-house warehouse operations from scratch
- Manage and optimize 3PL partners
- Decide what stays in-house vs outsourced
- Ensure inventory accuracy across all nodes
- Build scalable systems for picking, packing, dispatch
Returns & Claims (Critical Area):
- Own returns % reduction
- Manage RTOs, exchanges, refunds
- Handle courier claims, damages, lost shipments
- Build systems to reduce leakage and fraud
Logistics & Negotiations:
- Work with courier partners (Delhivery, Bluedart, etc.)
- Negotiate rates, SLAs, and performance terms
- Improve delivery timelines and success rates
Packaging & Customer Experience:
- Own packaging quality, cost, and efficiency
- Improve unboxing experience while reducing cost
- Ensure packaging supports low damage & returns
Inventory & Control:
- Maintain accurate stock tracking
- Reduce dead stock, mismatches, shrinkage
- Align inventory with demand from merchandising
What success looks like
- Reduction in returns % and RTO %
- Lower cost per order shipped
- Faster dispatch TAT
- High inventory accuracy (95–99%)
- Minimal order errors / wrong shipments
- Efficient handling of scale without chaos
What we're looking for
- Experience in ecommerce operations / warehouse / supply chain
- Has handled 3PL + in-house warehouse setups
- Strong execution mindset (gets things done daily)
- Comfortable working on ground with teams
- Good at negotiation and vendor management
- Can build systems from zero, not just manage existing ones
Ground Reality (Read before applying)
- Warehouse operates all 7 days (including Sundays)
- Role involves shift-based working
- This is a high-intensity execution role, not a desk job
- You will be required to solve problems daily on ground

- You've only worked in large, process-heavy companies
Compensation
- Fixed: 6–10L
- Variable: 2–4L (linked to cost reduction, returns %, TAT, accuracy)
- ESOP: 0.5% – 1.5%
