Role: Senior Account Manager – Marketplace Growth (Amazon, Flipkart, Quick-Commerce)
About the role
We're looking for a senior account leader who can own a portfolio of brands end-to-end across Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart – from pitching and closing them, to building the growth plan, to running day-to-day business on these platforms. This is a strategy + execution role: you will decide which channels make sense for a brand, what their P&L should look like, and how UniSouk's team and AI agents work together to get them profitable and scalable.
What you will own
• A revenue and profitability target across your portfolio of managed brands – not just tasks or campaigns.
• The full marketplace strategy for each client: channel mix (Amazon/Flipkart/Meesho vs Blinkit/Zepto/Instamart), assortment, pricing, promotions and ad budgets.
• The relationship with founders/leadership at each brand, including pitching UniSouk's account-management offering and converting them into long-term retainers.
• A small pod of junior account managers / interns whose work, SOPs, training and performance you will design and own.
Key responsibilities
1. Strategy, planning & client acquisition
• Identify and prioritise brands that are a strong fit for UniSouk's managed-services offering; plan the outreach, meeting flow and business case for each.
• Audit a brand's current presence on Amazon / Flipkart / Meesho / quick-commerce and build a clear growth plan: which platforms to be on, what catalogue to push where, and what it will take to become profitable.
• Run discovery calls and pitches with brand founders, explain UniSouk's edge (multi-channel + AI agents), and close them into paid account-management engagements.
2. Marketplace growth & P&L ownership
• Own listing, catalog and pricing strategy across Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Blinkit, Zepto and Instamart for your brands – from SEO keywords and creatives to pack-sizes and discounts.
• Plan and review performance marketing: Sponsored Ads on marketplaces, promotions, deal events, and repeat-purchase / retention levers, always linked back to contribution margin and ROAS targets.
• Monitor daily/weekly dashboards for sales, returns, inventory and ad spend; step in early when something is off (stockouts, bad ASIN health, margin erosion, rating drops).
3. Using UniSouk's tech & AI agents
• Work closely with our product and AI teams to embed UniSouk's AI agents (for listings, analytics, ads and support) into your client workflows so that your pod moves faster than a traditional agency.
• Translate client needs into product feedback: what data, automations or alerts would make your pod more efficient and give clients an unfair advantage.
• Champion adoption of new features inside your team – you're the first to try, refine and standardise how we use them with clients.
4. Team leadership & operations
• Hire, coach and manage junior account managers and interns; set clear goals, review their work and ensure quality of listings, reports and client communication.
• Build SOPs, playbooks and trackers for day-to-day execution (launch checklists, growth cadences, weekly review formats) and keep improving them as we scale.
• Create a culture of ownership in the pod – juniors understand the client's business, not just tickets, and know what success looks like each week.
What we're looking for
• 4–8 years in marketplace account management / ecommerce growth / performance marketing, with hands-on ownership on at least 3 of these: Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart.
• Proven track record of taking brands from basic presence to structured, profitable growth on marketplaces (you can talk to us about before/after numbers).
• Comfort with numbers and tools – you live inside dashboards, can read a P&L, and can turn data into a simple growth story for the client.
Mindset & skills
• Founder-like ownership: you think in terms of P&L, cash flow and long-term brand health, not just campaigns run.
• Strong client-facing skills: you can lead C-level conversations, push back when needed, and still make the client feel supported.
• Tech- and AI-curious: you're excited by new tools, quick to learn them, and naturally look for ways to automate boring work instead of adding more people.
• Leadership: you enjoy building people, not just managing tasks – giving feedback, coaching, and setting high but fair expectations for your team.
