Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Lead to drive continuous improvement across our eCommerce landscape, which consists of multiple Scrum teams, including pricing, product content & publication, webshops, sales channels, dropshipping & B2B, order management, customer service, and (email) marketing.

The ideal candidate is a highly proactive, data-driven, hands-on professional with a strong sense of ownership who can drive meaningful change by identifying inefficiencies, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that our processes align with business objectives and regulations to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and overall performance.

Job Description

  • Change Management & Execution: Act as a Change Manager, ensuring that process improvements are successfully implemented. Drive adoption, document, provide training, and remove roadblocks to ensure sustained change.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize business processes across eCommerce teams to improve efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance automation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring issues and propose sustainable solutions that align with business growth and scalability.
  • Portfolio Management: Play an integral role in portfolio management by assessing the impact of new projects and initiatives. Ensure that proposed changes are evaluated against existing processes, identifying which teams and departments will be affected and how.
  • Automation & AI: Work closely with technology teams to identify opportunities for automation and AI.
  • Standardization, Documentation & Governance: Establish and document best practices, frameworks, and process guidelines for consistent execution across teams, while maintaining clear visibility of key eCommerce processes and ensuring proper governance around process changes.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use key performance indicators (KPIs) and data insights to measure process effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, domain process experts and Business & Technical stakeholders to drive process improvements across domains.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of eCommerce initiatives.

Skills and experience

  • 5+ years of experience in process improvement, business process management (BPM), or similar role in an eCommerce or digital environment.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools and methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • A true change manager, capable of driving process improvements from strategy to execution.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a data-driven mindset.
  • A proactive mindset, consistently driving improvements and anticipating challenges.
  • Highly hands-on, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Proven leadership skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines, honoring agreements, and delivering measurable results.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with global and multicultural teams effectively.
  • Experience with automation tools is a plus.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, with a strong ability to align process improvements with iterative development cycles.
  • Basic technical understanding of digital platforms, system architectures, and integrations, enabling
  • effective collaboration with technical architects and engineering teams. Deep technical expertise is not required, but the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts is essential.
  • Experience in working in product-based companies
