Job Title:E-commerce Operations Assistant

Client Location:Singapore

Working Days, Hours:Monday-Friday, 4 hours/day (Flexible within Singapore business hours)

Contract Type:Part-time Contract

Contract Term:1 Year, Renewable

Monthly Salary:USD 300-500

Job Overview:

One of our clients is a growing premium food brand in Singapore specializing in ready-to-cook organic meals. Currently targeting the Indian consumer segment, the brand plans to expand across South-East Asia with a multi-range of food products. We are in an early growth stage and need an assistant to stabilize online operations while working closely with the founder.

They are looking for anE-commerce Operations Assistantto support and manage day-to-day online operations for a growing consumer brand. This role focuses on ensuring smooth e-commerce processes, maintaining product listings, handling customer communication, and supporting overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to take ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update product listings across platforms such as Shopee and Shopify
  • Ensure accuracy in pricing, bundles, and promotional details
  • Monitor daily orders and ensure smooth order-to-fulfillment processes
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support order handling and logistics
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints via email and platform messaging
  • Maintain a professional and brand-aligned communication tone
  • Create simple visual assets (e.g. posters, promotions) using Canva
  • Support basic marketing content and messaging
  • Track orders, feedback, and performance data in an organized manner
  • Provide regular summaries and insights on operations and customer feedback

Must-Haves:

  • 12 years of experience in e-commerce operations
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Shopee, Shopify, or WooCommerce
  • Strong written English communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Gmail, and Canva
  • Proactive mindset with strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to work independently and handle ambiguity

Great-to-Haves:

  • Experience in food, meal, or subscription-based businesses
  • Experience with organic marketing or paid ads
  • Familiarity with specific customer segments or regional preferences
  • Strong visual sense for clean and premium content presentation
