Job Description

We are looking for an Ecommerce Operations & Warehouse Manager to manage the daily operations of our D2C ecommerce business, including website orders, inventory, warehouse coordination, dispatches, shipments, returns and courier follow-ups.

The person will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are processed, packed and dispatched on time, stock is properly maintained, and the warehouse team follows the correct operational process every day.

Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Management
  • Monitor website orders daily.
  • Ensure all orders move from processing to packing and dispatch on time.
  • Track pending, packed, dispatched, cancelled, returned and RTO orders.
  • Ensure no order is missed, delayed or stuck in the system.
  • Coordinate with customer support, warehouse and logistics teams for order-related issues.
  • Monitor prepaid, COD and partial COD orders.
Warehouse Management
  • Manage daily warehouse operations and coordinate with the warehouse team.
  • Ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately.
  • Supervise packing staff and ensure daily dispatch targets are met.
  • Ensure products are stored properly and stock is organised SKU-wise.
  • Maintain proper rack/bin labelling and product segregation.
  • Ensure packing material, labels and dispatch supplies are always available.
  • Reduce wrong product dispatches, missing items and packing errors.
  • Ensure warehouse SOPs are followed by all staff.
  • Monitor daily inward, outward, damaged, expired and returned stock.
Dispatch Management
  • Plan and manage daily dispatches with the warehouse team.
  • Ensure all ready orders are manifested and handed over to courier partners on time.
  • Coordinate courier pickups and resolve pickup delays.
  • Check that shipping labels, invoices and packing details are correct.
  • Monitor dispatch ageing and ensure no order remains pending beyond the allowed time.
  • Maintain dispatch checklists and daily dispatch reports.
Shipment & Logistics Management
  • Manage shipments through Shiprocket, Delhivery, India Post or other courier partners.
  • Track shipment delays, NDR, RTO and delivery issues.
  • Follow up with courier partners for stuck shipments.
  • Monitor courier performance and identify recurring issues.
  • Maintain reports for delivered orders, RTO, lost shipments and courier delays.
Inventory Management
  • Monitor stock levels across all products and SKUs.
  • Ensure fast-moving products do not go out of stock.
  • Coordinate with purchase/manufacturing teams for stock replenishment.
  • Reconcile physical stock with system stock.
  • Track expiry dates, damaged stock, returned stock and inward stock.
  • Create daily/weekly low-stock alerts.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts.
Website & Dashboard Operations
  • Monitor ecommerce website backend/order dashboard.
  • Check product stock status, pricing, offers and order flow.
  • Coordinate with developers for dashboard or website issues.
  • Test checkout, payment, shipping and order placement flows regularly.
  • Report operational bugs and follow up until resolved.
Reporting & MIS
  • Prepare daily reports on:
  • Orders received
  • Orders packed
  • Orders dispatched
  • Pending orders
  • Courier pickups
  • Delivery status
  • RTO percentage
  • Stock levels
  • Low-stock products
  • Warehouse errors
  • Delayed dispatches
  • Share daily operational updates with management.
  • Identify process gaps and suggest improvements.
Required Skills
  • Experience in ecommerce operations, warehouse operations, logistics or inventory management.
  • Good knowledge of order processing, packing, dispatch and courier handling.
  • Comfortable using ecommerce dashboards, Excel/Google Sheets and courier platforms.
  • Strong coordination skills with warehouse, customer support and logistics teams.
  • Ability to manage ground-level operations and follow up daily.
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage staff and ensure work is completed on time.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in D2C, health, wellness, beauty, personal care, supplements, FMCG or ecommerce brands.
  • Experience with Shiprocket, Delhivery, Amazon, Flipkart or similar platforms.
  • Experience managing high-volume COD/RTO ecommerce operations.
  • Experience supervising warehouse or packing teams.
