Job Description
We are looking for an eCommerce Sales Manager / Key Account Manager responsible for handling our Makeup / Cosmetics & Skincare portfolio across top eCommerce partners.
Experience - Must have 5+ years in the makeup/skincare category with sales/account management experience in eCommerce & offline, preferably
Responsibility-
- Plan, review, and finalise brand assortment and pricing strategy for the Indian market based on market research, sales trends, international trends, category insights, and evolving consumer preferences to build a complete and competitive portfolio.
- Possess a deep understanding of the Indian beauty and personal care category, consumer behaviour, regional preferences, and emerging market trends to drive strategic business decisions.
- Drive business growth across multiple e-commerce platforms through comprehensive sales planning and achievement of revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
- Manage and develop strong relationships with key marketplace partners, including Nykaa, Tira, Blinkit, Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, and other online channels, to maximise business opportunities and ensure sustainable growth.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams while fostering collaboration across sales, marketing, supply chain, content, design, finance, and operations to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and coordination skills to effectively align internal and external teams and ensure timely delivery of projects and initiatives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations across e-commerce platforms and ensure achievement of business KPIs and targets.
- Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies and consumer offerings while maintaining brand equity and positioning.
- Evaluate market competition and analyse pricing strategies, promotions, markdowns, and assortment to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Leverage marketplace marketing tools, including sponsored ads, display ads, homepage banners, social commerce initiatives, key events, and promotional campaigns, to drive awareness, conversions, and sales.
- Forecast demand and manage inventory across channels to ensure optimum stock availability and timely replenishment.
- Monitor and enhance brand reputation through effective management of ratings, reviews, and premium brand representation across digital platforms.
- Prepare and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly business reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills with expertise in data analysis, pivot tables, lookups, dashboards, forecasting, and business performance reporting.
- Collaborate closely with content and creative teams to ensure accurate and compelling brand representation across all digital touchpoints.
- Monitor competitor brands, assortment, pricing, rankings, and promotional activities to identify opportunities and benchmark performance.
- Analyse key business metrics, including sales, traffic, conversion rates, average order value, inventory health, campaign performance, and profitability, to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor and guide team members, promote operational excellence, and build a high-performance culture focused on achieving business objectives.
