Job Description

Manager – E-Commerce Analytics (Marketplaces & Q-Commerce)

Location: Ahmedabad | Reporting To: Head – E-Commerce

Role Mandate

Own the analytics charter for marketplaces and quick commerce, driving revenue growth, profitability, and competitive advantage through deep data, structured insights, and scalable analytics frameworks.

What You'll Own

1. Core Business Intelligence

  • Build a single source of truth for all marketplace & q-commerce metrics
  • Track GMV, CVR, AOV, ROAS, Contribution Margin, Inventory health
  • Deliver sharp, actionable insights to influence daily business decisions

2. Data Pipeline & Analytics Framework

  • Design and scale an end-to-end data pipeline (platform data, ads data, inventory, pricing)
  • Automate dashboards across Power BI / Tableau / Looker
  • Standardize definitions, metrics, and reporting cadence
  • Enable real-time / near real-time decision-making

3. Marketplace & Q-Commerce Performance

  • Deep-dive performance across Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart
  • Identify growth levers at SKU, category, and platform level
  • Track visibility metrics: search rank, share of shelf, CTR, conversion

4. Category Landscape & White Space Identification

  • Analyze category trends, demand gaps, and competition benchmarks
  • Map assortments vs competitors to identify white spaces
  • Recommend expansion opportunities (new SKUs, bundles, pack sizes, pricing tiers)

5. Pricing & Promotion Analytics

  • Drive pricing strategy using elasticity models
  • Evaluate impact of discounting on volume, revenue, and margin
  • Optimize platform-wise pricing & promo strategies
  • Support decisioning on sale events, deals, and visibility investments

6. Ads & Growth Analytics

  • Own performance tracking of Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads, etc.
  • Improve ROAS through bid, keyword, and spend optimization insights
  • Link ad spends to incrementality and contribution margins

7. Inventory & Supply Analytics

  • Optimize stock allocation across platforms
  • Track sell-through, stock cover, and availability
  • Prevent lost sales due to stockouts and inefficiencies

  • Clear visibility into growth drivers and leakages
  • Measurable improvement in ROAS, CVR, and contribution margins
  • Strong pipeline enabling faster, data-led decisions
  • Identification of new revenue pools through white spaces
  • Scalable analytics foundation supporting business growth

Ideal Profile

  • 4–8 years in e-commerce / marketplace analytics / growth analytics
  • Strong SQL, Excel + BI tools expertise
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon / Flipkart / Quick Com ecosystems
  • Solid understanding of pricing, promotions, and marketplace dynamics
  • Ability to convert data into clear business actions
