Description
We are seeking an experienced Eco-Design Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating sustainable practices into product development processes, ensuring that our products are designed with minimal environmental impact.
Responsibilities
- Conduct life cycle assessments to evaluate the environmental impacts of products.
- Collaborate with product development teams to integrate eco-design principles into new products.
- Identify and recommend sustainable materials and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Participate in sustainability initiatives and promote eco-friendly practices within the organization.
- Provide training and support to cross-functional teams on eco-design methodologies.
- Monitor and report on the performance of eco-design projects.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in eco-design or sustainable product development.
- Strong knowledge of life cycle assessment (LCA) methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with sustainable materials and eco-friendly manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
