Core Responsibilities of an Executive Assistant (EA)

  • Calendar Schedule Management

Managing meetings, appointments, and daily schedules

Prioritizing important tasks for the executive

  • Communication Handling

Handling emails, calls, and messages on behalf of the boss

Drafting professional emails, reports, and documents

  • Coordination Follow-ups

Coordinating with internal teams and external clients

Following up on pending work, tasks, and deadlines

  • Travel Meeting Arrangements

Booking flights, hotels, and transport

Preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes

  • Office Admin Support

Managing files, documents, and confidential records

Handling office operations and basic admin work

  • Decision Support

Providing data, reports, and insights to help in decision-making

Researching information when required

  • Personal Assistance (sometimes)

Managing personal tasks like bill payments, events, etc. (depends on company)
