About The Role
We are looking for a
dynamic professional from the E-Waste Recycling industry who has hands-on experience in
project planning, plant setup, operations, R&D, and commercial management.
The ideal candidate should understand the
complete value chain of E-waste recyclingfrom scrap procurement to processing, recovery, and sale of recycled materialswhile ensuring sustainable cash flow and operational efficiency.
This role requires a strong
execution mindset, technical understanding, and commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities
1 Venture & Plant Setup
- Participate in end-to-end setup of E-waste recycling operations
- Assist in plant layout planning, process flow design, and capacity planning
- Coordinate installation and commissioning of machinery & equipment
- Develop SOPs for dismantling, segregation, and recovery processes
2 Project Planning & Execution
- Support greenfield project execution
- Vendor coordination & technical evaluation
- Monitor setup timelines and ensure milestone completion
- Identify operational bottlenecks and provide solutions
3 R&D & Process Optimization
- Work on yield improvement and recovery efficiency
- Explore better techniques for material extraction & segregation
- Analyze recovery percentages for metals, plastics, PCBs, etc.
- Support innovation in cost optimization & waste minimization
4 Commercial & Cash Flow Management
- Understand and manage the scrap procurement cycle
- Vendor & aggregator coordination for E-waste sourcing
- Monitor raw material costing and recovery margins
- Plan sales of recycled materials (metals, components, etc.)
- Ensure sustainable cash flow from procurement to product sales
5 Compliance & Documentation
- Basic understanding of E-Waste Management Rules & EPR
- Coordination for required documentation and regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Environmental Science / Relevant Field
- 38 years of experience in E-waste recycling industry
Practical Exposure To
- Scrap purchasing & sourcing
- Dismantling & segregation processes
- Recycling plant operations
- Understanding of cost structures & margin calculations
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a startup / growth-oriented environment
- Willingness to build processes from scratch
Preferred
- Experience in greenfield recycling plant setup
- Exposure to R&D or process optimization
- Hands-on commercial exposure in scrap trading or recycled material sales
