Role Description
This role involves the design and engineering for plant electrical and power systems within an integrated steel plant environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring design of system & its components for safe, robust and efficient operation of critical electrical infrastructure from conceptualization through commissioning.
- Conceptualization and basic engineering for plant electrical and power systems.
- Detailed engineering and procurement engineering activities for all electrical infrastructure.
- Manage interfaces between electrical systems and other plant disciplines to ensure seamless integration.
- Develop and review detailed engineering deliverables for electrical installations, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Engage with and manage relationships with vendors and technology suppliers for electrical equipment and solutions.
- Conduct estimation of macro Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and project costs pertaining to electrical and power systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and quality management protocols throughout the electrical design and engineering lifecycle.
- Comply the progress of design and engineering activities for plant electrical and power systems, from concept to commissioning.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments, technology suppliers, and equipment vendors on all electrical design and engineering matters.
- Participate actively in value engineering initiatives and 3D model reviews to optimize electrical system design and integration.
Other Details
Minimum Qualification : Engineering ( BE / B.tech.) Equivalent in any discipline or B.Arch and AICTE or UGC approved.
