Description

We are seeking an experienced medical coder specializing in Evaluation and Management or Radiology medical coder to join our team in Egmore, Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical coding, ensuring accurate and compliant coding practices within our healthcare facility. This company works for Physician billing provider side.

Certified medical coder from AAPC/AHIMA.

Only direct face to face interview in the company. No virtual interview for outstation candidates. Kindly excuse. Immediate joiners required.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records for accurate coding.
• Assign appropriate codes based on ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with coding regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation.
• Maintain coding accuracy and efficiency metrics.
• Stay updated with changes in coding standards and regulations.
• Conduct audits and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-8 years of experience in medical coding or relevant field.
• Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in coding.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Certification such as CPC, CCS, or CCA is a plus.

Salary: Will be matched according to previous salary and experience

Work Location: Egmore, Chennai.
