Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned
E-commerce Manager with a proven track record in the clothing retail sector to lead our digital storefronts. You will be the bridge between our vision and execution, managing a hybrid ecosystem of in-house talent and third-party agencies.
The ideal candidate is a strategic powerhouse who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty in the day-to-day operations. You will oversee everything from inventory health and marketplace listings to high-level digital marketing strategies, ensuring a seamless end-to-end customer journey.
Key Responsibilities1. Team & Stakeholder Management
- Hybrid Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact and lead for both internal team members and external third-party agencies (Tech, Performance Marketing, Logistics).
- Performance Tracking: Set clear KPIs for agencies and internal staff, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Operations & Strategy
- End-to-End Ownership: Manage the entire E-commerce value chain, including cataloging, inventory management, order fulfillment, and last-mile delivery.
- Platform Management: Oversee the brand's website (D2C) and presence on major marketplaces (e.g., Myntra, Ajio, Amazon, Nykaa Fashion).
- Growth Strategy: Develop and execute seasonal sales campaigns, discount structures, and product launch calendars specifically tailored for the apparel market.
- Data & Digital Marketing
- Conversion Optimization: Analyze website traffic and user behavior to optimize the UI/UX, reducing bounce rates and improving conversion.
- Budgeting: Manage the P&L for the E-commerce department, ensuring the ₹10–15 LPA investment in this role translates into sustainable ROI and scaled GMV.
- Reporting: Provide weekly and monthly insights on sales trends, stock aging, and customer acquisition costs (CAC).
Candidate Profile
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years in E-commerce, with at least 5 years in a leadership/managerial capacity.
- Industry Expert: Prior experience working with clothing/fashion retail brands is highly preferred. You should understand seasonal trends, size-chart complexities, and high-return-rate management.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with E-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento), ERP tools, and Analytics (Google Analytics 4).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills (for agency management) and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, retail-centric environment.
