Role Overview
The E-Commerce Implementation Consultant is responsible for leading structured ERP-integrated digital commerce deployments from requirement discovery through go-live and controlled handover.
This role acts as the single point of accountability between client stakeholders and internal design, ERP, and engineering teams.
This is a high-ownership delivery role focused on execution governance, integration accuracy, and client success.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Discovery & Scope Governance
Lead structured discovery sessions with enterprise clients.
Document business and functional requirements (FRD).
Define website architecture (Category, Collection, Product structure).
Define ERP sync requirements and feature configurations.
Secure formal sign-off before project execution.
Manage change requests using structured approval process.
Cross-Functional Execution Management
Coordinate with Design, ERP, and Development teams.
Monitor milestones and timeline adherence.
Identify risks and escalate proactively.
Prevent scope creep and undocumented modifications.
ERP-to-Website Integration Validation
Validate product and pricing synchronization.
Ensure category mapping accuracy.
Test pricing behavior based on ERP logic.
Validate advanced modules (Schemes, Digi Gold, Layaway, Adjustments where applicable).
Conduct structured pre-UAT validation.
UAT & Go-Live Governance
Lead UAT sessions.
Ensure zero critical functional defects before launch.
Oversee production release.
Support initial stabilization phase.
Handover & Transition
Prepare implementation documentation.
Conduct client administrator training.
Ensure structured transition to Support team.
Success Metrics
On-time project delivery.
Zero ERP pricing mismatch at go-live.
100% requirement documentation prior to development.
Minimal post-launch escalations within 30 days.
Positive client implementation feedback.
Required Qualifications
48 years in ERP or eCommerce implementation.
Strong requirement gathering and documentation skills.
Understanding of ERP-driven pricing logic.
Awareness of API and integration concepts (non-coding).
Jewellery domain exposure preferred.
