I'm looking for a data-driven E-commerce Analyst who can work closely with my Supply Chain / Systems Manager to analyze data, fine-tune systems, and drive SKU-level inventory planning.
This is not an operations role.
This is a thinking + analytics role.
What you'll work on- SKU-level inventory planning (by location, velocity, returns)
- Deciding which SKU goes to which warehouse and in what quantity
- Using existing MIS, dashboards, and SOPs and improving them
- Building and refining Google Sheets dashboards (no fancy BI needed)
- Sales, stock, GRN, returns, aging, fill-rate analysis
- Working alongside the supply chain manager to identify gaps and optimize flows
- Creating decision-ready reports for leadership (not raw data dumps)
What you should be good at- Strong Google Sheets / Excel (advanced formulas, logic, structure)
- Understanding of e-commerce inventory dynamics
- Ability to convert messy data into clear insights
- Comfortable working with systems built by others and improving them
- Logical, detail-oriented, and business-minded
Nice to have- Marketplace exposure (Flipkart / Amazon / D2C)
- Experience with SKU-level demand planning
- Understanding of multi-warehouse inventory allocation
Who this role is NOT for- Pure operations executives
- People who only pull reports but don't interpret them
- People who need hand-holding on spreadsheets
