Position Overview

Job Title:E-Commerce Client Service (eCS), Assistant Vice President

Location: Bangalore, India

Role Description

  • The eCommerce Client Services (eCS) business offers global support for our clients to execute trades across various Electronic Trading Platforms. Asset classes supported include Foreign Exchange, Listed Derivatives, Fixed Income and Money Markets.Business hubs supported include London, New York, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Singapore and Sydney and is supported by dedicated operational teams across the globe.

Your key responsibilities

  • Responsible for a diverse team of approx. 8 FTE whose main functions are as below:
    • Client Enablement - Management of internal and external clients user entitlements, limits, and accounts.
    • Profile Amendments - Maintenance of users, limits and accounts in trading and reporting applications.
    • Client Off-boarding - Ensure client profiles and associated permissions are disabled in a timely manner.
    • Recertification - Drive periodic reviews of client enablement.
    • 3rd Party Platforms Intermediation - Act as an intermediary between clients and third-party vendors to ensure the right level of client service is provided (for platforms such as Bloomberg EMSX, Tradebook and Trading Screen).
    • Breaks/Rejects Resolution - Responsible for resolution for pre and post trade rejections and client outreach.
    • Connectivity Resolution - Ensure all Autobahn clients can access their applications successfully. Autobahn applications provisioning and password resets management.
    • New Product Rollouts - Perform UAT testing and management of new product roll outs and production releases.
    • Complexity Reduction - Drive process improvements
  • To ensure processes are performed as per defined Key Operating Processes.
  • To escalates unusual activity (high or low volumes new client activity, slow systems, delayed approvals).
  • Work with internal stakeholders (Sales and Traders) and ensure the client trading profile is accurate.
  • Ensure required 4eye checks are performed and documented diligently as per audit requirements
  • Capable of making decisions in challenging circumstances.
  • Produce meaningful metrics to manage our operational processes effectively.
  • Manage team to provide accuracy and timeliness in all processes performed and to always meet the high client satisfaction standards.

Your skills and experience

  • 10+ year industry experience working in an Investment Bank with eCommerce Client Service preferred
  • In depth understanding of Autobahn framework and applications
  • Previous experience of working in a stressful and high trading volume environment.
  • Well-motivated and enthusiastic team player.
  • Ability to multi-task and keep clear in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accurate, thorough, and highly responsible with acute attention to detail.
  • Displays insight and ability in identifying issues and helps to develop successful solutions.
  • Expected to develop credibility and good reputation as well as demonstrate integrity with clients and colleagues.
  • Accountable for your own actions and seek aide from management when appropriate.
  • Strong and effective communications skills.
  • Client/Business focus.
