About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and data-driven E-commerce & Q-commerce Growth Manager who has a proven track record of scaling a new-age/incumbent FMCG brand. You will take full ownership of driving top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability across online marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Big Basket) and quick-commerce platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart).
The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial thinker who understands the distinct operational and consumer nuances of traditional e-com vs. high-intent, immediate q-com. You should be deeply analytical, financially astute regarding unit economics, and capable of managing external agencies while knowing the tactical execution of ad platforms inside out.
Key Responsibilities
· P&L and Revenue Ownership: Take full ownership of the scale, performance, and financial health of the e-com and q-com business units. Drive growth while balancing gross margins and contribution margins.
· Agency & Execution Management: Act as the strategic lead directing external agencies and freelancers who handle the bulk of daily execution. Audit their performance, set sharp KPIs, and ensure high-ROI delivery on ad spend.
· Paid & Organic Growth Levers: Maximize platform growth by balancing paid ad strategies (optimizing budget allocation, ROAS, and CAC) with organic levers (SEO-rich content, keyword research, review generation, and conversion rate optimization).
· Consumer Behaviour Insights: Deeply analyze and understand customer buying behavior, search trends, and purchase-making criteria—or rapidly decode them for our sustainable home care category—to continuously optimize messaging and product positioning.
· Cross-Functional & Platform Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to manage inventory and supply chain forecasting, ensuring optimal fill rates and avoiding stock-outs (especially critical for q-com). Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Account Managers (KAMs) across various platforms to unlock growth opportunities and swiftly resolve operational bottlenecks.
· Data Analysis: Conduct rigorous analysis across all platforms to monitor sales trends, conversions, and platform health. Turn data into actionable commercial insights rather than just creating reports.
· Listing Management: Oversee product listings and ensure the seamless deployment of high-converting A+ content and infographics alongside internal creative teams.
Skills we are looking for
· Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in e-commerce and a minimum of 2 years of end-to-end q-commerce management. Prior experience scaling a new-age/incumbent FMCG brand is mandatory.
· Foundational Ad Expertise: While this role focuses on managing agencies for execution, you must have personally run performance ads (Amazon Ads, Blinkit/Zepto portals) at some point in your career. You must know how the backend algorithms work to effectively audit external partners.
· Financial & Numerical Literacy: Strongly analytical with a solid grasp of e-commerce economics, including margins, platform commissions, payouts, and contribution margins.
· Tools Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data sorting should be second nature). Proficient in professional email communication and Google Suite.
· Ownership Mindset: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a self-starter attitude capable of managing both internal stakeholders and external platform partners independently.
· Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
