Dynamics CRM Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT CRM Developer to own and evolve our custom Dynamics 365 / Dataverse model-driven application platform. This is a high-impact individual contributor and technical lead role that sits at the core of our CRM delivery capability. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing scalable data architectures, implementing robust security models, driving ALM practices, and ensuring the long-term reliability and performance of our internal CRM systems.

You will work in close partnership with onshore architects and product owners, translating complex business requirements into maintainable, high-quality technical solutions while providing technical leadership to offshore delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Architecture & Development

• Own and evolve the Dataverse data architecture, including entities, relationships, business rules, and extensibility patterns to support a growing model-driven application ecosystem.
• Design and implement secure, scalable data models ensuring proper use of relationships and configuration-driven patterns.
• Develop and maintain custom platform logic, including plugins, Custom APIs, JavaScript, and Power Automate flows that support core business processes.

Security & Governance

• Enforce and enhance security architecture, including role-based access control, field-level security, environment segmentation, and data governance standards.
• Contribute to governance frameworks for configuration vs. customization decisions, extensibility patterns, and reuse of shared components.
• Ensure data integrity and system performance, including handling large datasets, optimizing queries, and managing integrations.

ALM & DevOps

• Establish and maintain ALM practices, including CI/CD pipelines, solution layering strategy, environment management, and deployment automation.
• Enforce code quality, adherence to architectural standards, and consistency across all development work

Integration & Technical Lead

• Oversee integration patterns between Dynamics 365 and external systems (APIs, middleware, data sync) with a focus on reliability and maintainability.
• Act as the technical lead for offshore delivery, ensuring quality and adherence to architectural standards.
• Partner with onshore architects and product owners to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis across platform issues related to data, security, or automation.
• Continuously evaluate Power Platform, Copilot extensibility, and emerging features to improve system effectiveness.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Core Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 / Dataverse model-driven app development.
• Deep understanding of data modeling in Dataverse – tables, relationships, cascading behavior, and performance considerations.
• Proficiency in C# plugin development, Custom APIs, and Dataverse SDK.
• Experience with JavaScript (form scripting), Power Automate, and Power Platform tooling.

Architecture & Security

• Experience designing and implementing security models including security roles, business units, field security, and access teams.
• Ability to design configuration-driven solutions and translate architecture decisions into enforceable development standards.

ALM & Integration

• Knowledge of ALM strategies including managed/unmanaged solutions, pipelines, and environment governance.
• Experience with integration patterns – REST APIs, Azure services, and middleware.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps practices, and code quality standards.

Collaboration & Communication

• Knowledge of ALM strategies including managed/unmanaged solutions, pipelines, and environment governance.

Experience: 4-6 years of hands-on Dynamics 365 / Dataverse development

Certifications- MB-500 or PL-400 preferred (Not Mandatory)
