Key Responsibilities
Environment, Health and Safety (EHS):
- Lead and promote a strong health and safety culture across all production operations.
- Ensure all employees and visitors follow proper health, safety, and environmental procedures and use required protective equipment.
- Report and investigate all accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and induction to new employees, and ongoing training to all production team members in safely performing their roles.
Productivity And Operations
- Develop and execute production plans to meet delivery timelines and production goals efficiently.
- Monitor production progress daily, addressing bottlenecks promptly to maximize throughput.
- Carry out periodic maintenance and servicing to minimize downtime and maximize equipment utilization.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and order within the production area.
Sustainability And Continuous Improvement
- Reduce waste, energy, and water usage through process optimization and best practices.
- Lead initiatives (such as 5S, Lean, and Kaizen) to drive ongoing improvement in production operations.
- Monitor production data and implement corrective measures to reduce losses and inefficiencies.
- Foster a culture of innovation by empowering team members to identify improvement opportunities.
Training And Development
- Develop and implement training plans to raise skills and knowledge of production team members.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to supervisors and workers to aid their professional growth.
- Prepare future supervisors and team leaders through delegation of responsibilities and training initiatives.
Quality And Customer Focus
- Ensure products are manufactured to required quality standards.
- Monitor production batches for conformity and promptly resolve deviations.
- Support internal audits and maintain ISO IMS compliance.
Required Skills
- Sound understanding of production processes and machinery.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and production schedules.
- Familiar with ISO IMS Standards, Lean, 5S, and Kaizen.
- Experience with plant utilities, material handling, and inventories.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and results oriented.
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving ability.
- Positive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

- Intermediate computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and production software).
- Familiar with ERP (D365) or similar enterprise systems (desirable).
Compliance And Authority
- Implement and enforce Company health and safety policy and procedures.
- Support IMS initiatives and drive continual improvement in production operations.
- Report all safety, environmental, or quality issues promptly to the appropriate department.
- Ensure all production team members are adequately trained to perform their roles safely and effectively.
Qualification (Min. Requirements)
- Master's degree in chemical, Polymer, Industrial, or Process Engineering (Preferred)
- 5+ years experience in chemicals production, preferably in Construction Chemicals or Specialty Chemicals
- 3+ years experience in a supervisory or management role
