This is a full-time on-site role for a Duty Medical Officer based in Puducherry. The Duty Medical Officer will handle daily patient care activities, including attending patient rounds, monitoring health conditions, and addressing emergencies. The role involves close collaboration with physicians to deliver quality medical care and assist with minor procedures or surgeries as required. Providing training and guidance to junior medical staff and ensuring patient compliance with treatment plans are integral aspects of the role.

• Strong knowledge of Medicine and ability to provide immediate medical attention with high professional standards
• Demonstrated proficiency in Patient Care, with a focus on patient treatment, monitoring, and communication
• Experience in minor surgical procedures and assisting in Surgery
• Ability to work collaboratively with Physicians within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in Training junior medical staff or interns is preferred
• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution
• Registration with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council is mandatory
• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and handle emergency cases
