Duckcreek Policy developer

• Design, develop, customize, and implement solutions using Duck Creek Policy Administration (Policy).
• Configure and enhance Duck Creek Policy components including Product Studio, Manuscripts, Forms, Rules, and Workflows.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Develop and maintain policy transaction functionalities such as New Business, Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations, and Reinstatements.
• Integrate Duck Creek applications with third-party systems using APIs, web services, and messaging frameworks.
• Perform unit testing, defect fixes, code reviews, and deployment support.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Duck Creek Policy Administration development.
• Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Product Studio, Author, Express, and Policy modules.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, SQL Server, XML, XSLT, and Web Services.
• Experience in configuration and customization of Duck Creek solutions.
• Understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance business processes.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Duck Creek certification is highly preferred.
• Experience working on Personal Lines or Commercial Lines insurance products.
• Exposure to Duck Creek OnDemand (DCOD) cloud environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Duck Creek Billing or Claims modules.
• Knowledge of insurance regulatory compliance and product configuration.
