Role: Senior Technical Architect / Technical Architect & Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary:

We at Coforge are hiring an experienced Duck Creek Clarity Architect to lead client engagements, drive requirement discussions, and guide delivery teams on reporting, financial data structures, and insurance workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Requirement Gathering

• Act as the primary SME for Duck Creek Clarity and reporting-related discussions
• Lead workshops with business, finance, and technical stakeholders
• Translate business and financial needs into reporting requirements and technical specifications
• Validate DCR mappings, financial data flows, and reporting formats

2. Functional Expertise

• Strong understanding of Policy, Billing, and Claims processes
• Hands-on experience with Duck Creek DCR, including data elements, transformations, financial extracts, and GL mappings
• Deep knowledge of insurance accounting:

1. General Ledger & Sub-Ledger
2. Trial Balance
3. Premium, Claims, Commission, and UW flows
4. Adjustments, reversals, accruals, and reinsurance

3. Technical Expertise – Clarity

• Configure and manage Clarity metadata, datasets, dashboards, and ETL pipelines
• Guide development of standard and custom reports and dashboards
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation with source systems
• Troubleshoot data extraction issues, performance gaps, and mapping inconsistencies

4. Delivery & Governance

• Provide end-to-end SME oversight for reporting deliverables
• Support development, QA, and UAT teams with functional validation
• Validate GL/Sub-Ledger outputs from DCR/Clarity
• Review reporting requirements, mapping documents, validation rules, and test scenarios

Required Skills & Experience

• 10–16 years overall experience with 8+ years in Duck Creek
• Strong expertise in insurance financial accounting and reporting
• Ability to troubleshoot data quality and reconciliation issues
• Working knowledge of SQL and ETL/data models (preferred)
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage senior stakeholders

Education / Qualification: BE/ B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc. / M.CA / M.TECH / Any Graduate.
