Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Duck Creek Project Manager to lead and manage end-to-end Duck Creek implementation, enhancement, and transformation projects within the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, deep knowledge of the Duck Creek platform, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex insurance technology projects.
The role requires managing cross-functional teams, stakeholder engagement, project governance, risk management, and ensuring timely delivery of business-critical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end Duck Creek implementation and enhancement projects.
- Define project scope, timelines, resource plans, budgets, and delivery milestones.
- Ensure successful project execution while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
- Track project progress and proactively address risks, dependencies, and issues.
- Manage project governance, status reporting, and executive communications.
Duck Creek Platform Leadership
- Drive projects involving Duck Creek Policy, Billing, Claims, and Author modules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into delivery plans.
- Oversee solution implementation, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Ensure alignment of Duck Creek solutions with business and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and business stakeholders.
- Conduct project reviews, steering committee meetings, and status updates.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and client leadership.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and drive customer satisfaction.
Agile Project Execution
- Lead projects within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog prioritization, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Development Teams.
- Ensure continuous improvement and Agile best practices throughout project execution.
Team Leadership
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams across development, QA, business analysis, and infrastructure.
- Mentor project team members and promote collaboration.
- Drive accountability and performance to achieve project goals.
Risk & Quality Management
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor project health metrics and delivery KPIs.
Experience
- 9+ years of overall IT Project Management experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Duck Creek implementation and enhancement projects.
- Strong experience within Insurance or Enterprise Technology environments.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale software implementation projects.
