Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Duck Creek Policy & Billing Lead QA to lead quality assurance efforts for Duck Creek implementations and enhancements. Candidate should have strong functional knowledge of Duck Creek Policy and Billing modules, experience in P&C insurance domain, and proven leadership in QA strategy, automation, and test management.
Key Responsibilities
QA Leadership & Strategy
- Define and implement QA strategy, test approach, and governance for Duck Creek Policy & Billing projects.
- Lead end-to-end testing lifecycle: SIT, System Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, Regression, and Production validation.
- Coordinate with business, developers, product owners, and vendors.
- Manage QA team (onshore/offshore), review deliverables, and ensure quality standards.
Duck Creek Functional Testing- Validate configuration and customizations in:
- Duck Creek Policy Administration (DCPA)
- Duck Creek Billing
- Test rating, underwriting rules, product configuration, forms, workflows, and integrations.
- Validate billing plans, invoicing, commissions, payment processing, and financial transactions.
- Perform end-to-end P&C lifecycle testing (Quote Bind Issue Endorsement Renewal Cancellation Billing).
Integration & Data Testing- Validate integrations with:
- Claims systems
- Payment gateways
- Document management systems
- Data warehouses
- Conduct API and batch interface testing.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation.
Automation & Tools
- Design and oversee automation framework (TOSCA).
- Ensure regression automation coverage for critical business flows.
- Use test management tools (Azure DevOps).
Defect & Risk Management
- Track defects, conduct root cause analysis.
- Report QA metrics, risks, and quality status to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
Required Qualifications- 9+ years in Duck Creek Policy & Billing as QA.
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance domain.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Duck Creek Policy Admin configuration
- Duck Creek Billing
- Manuscripts, rating, forms, workflows
- Experience in SIT, UAT, regression, and E2E testing.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Duck Creek certification (preferred).
- Experience in automation testing.
- Exposure to Duck Creek Data Insights / Reinsurance (nice to have).
- Experience in cloud deployments (Azure/AWS).
- Knowledge of SQL and data validation.
