Duck Creek Insights Lead Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Duck Creek Insights Ingestion Lead Developer to design, develop, and manage data ingestion pipelines into Duck Creek Insights. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Duck Creek platform components, data integration, and leading technical teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of data ingestion processes into Duck Creek Insights.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data sources.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and Duck Creek functional teams to define data requirements.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across ingestion workflows.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data ingestion and integration issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
• Manage deployments, code reviews, and best practices for development.
• Work with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) for data ingestion and storage solutions.
• Maintain documentation for ingestion architecture and processes.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in software/data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Insights and Duck Creek platform.
• Strong expertise in data ingestion, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., .Net).
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and data integration tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the insurance domain (P&C preferred).
• Familiarity with Duck Creek Policy, Billing, or Claims modules.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
