Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and develop on Duck Creek Express, Server, Author, Transact, Forms, and User Admin for new product implementations.

• Build and maintain manuscripts, inheritance, screens, fields, domains, rating, and forms on Duck Creek 7.2.4 / 25.5.

• Execute Duck Creek upgrades end-to-end — from versions 6.2 and 7.x to 7.2.4 and 25.5 — covering assessment, gap analysis, code/config migration, regression, and go-live.

• Develop and tune XSLT transformations, XML payloads, and SQL stored procedures supporting Duck Creek extensions and integrations.

• Implement Shredding logic for downstream data consumption and reporting.

• Support SIT/UAT, defect resolution, performance tuning, and post-go-live stabilization.

• Collaborate with BAs, architects, QA, and client stakeholders across distributed teams.

Must-Have

• 3 – 8 years of hands-on Duck Creek experience.

• Expert-level hands-on skills in Duck Creek toolset — Express, Server, Author, Transact, Forms, User Admin, Shredding, XSLT Transformation, XML, and SQL.

• Hands-on experience on Duck Creek Platform 7.2.4 and 25.5 (current target versions).

• At least one (1) full Duck Creek upgrade delivered end-to-end — strong experience with upgrades from versions 6.2 and 7.x to 7.2.4 and 25.5 is required.

• Product application development experience on the latest Duck Creek platform and its allied features.

• Solid understanding of P&C policy lifecycle — new business, endorsement, renewal, cancellation, reinstatement.

• Energetic, engaging self-starter with strong analytical, communication, organizational, and technology skills.

Good-to-Have

• Experience with AWS (compute, storage, networking, deployment of Duck Creek workloads) — a plus.

• Duck Creek OnDemand, AMI (Anywhere Managed Integrations), Insights, or Producer portal exposure.

• Familiarity with Duck Creek Billing or Claims integration touchpoints.

• Duck Creek certification(s).

• CI/CD pipeline experience on Duck Creek environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Insurance certifications (LOMA, AINS) are a plus.
