Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Duck Creek Billing QA Lead to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Duck Creek Billing systems, lead QA efforts across multiple projects, and mentor junior QA engineers. This role demands strong leadership, technical acumen, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions in the insurance domain.
Responsibilities
- Lead QA strategy, planning, and execution for Duck Creek Billing implementations.
- Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring best practices in testing and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, business analysts, and product owners to define test scope and objectives.
- Oversee creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Drive defect management and root cause analysis using tools like JIRA, ALM.
- Ensure compliance with Duck Creek standards and insurance industry regulations.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate UAT and production release validations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 610 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in Duck Creek Billing.
- Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing testing efforts for enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of Duck Creek architecture, especially Billing and Policy modules.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT) and test management tools.
- Proficiency in SQL and data validation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Duck Creek Certification (Billing or Policy) is highly desirable.
- Experience in insurance domain, especially Property & Casualty (P&C).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud environments.
