DTP Graphic Designer

Key Responsibilities

DTP & InDesign Production (Primary Responsibility)

• Create, edit, and manage large multi-page documents using Adobe InDesign
• Work within predefined templates using paragraph and character styles, grids, master pages, and layers
• Maintain clean and well-organized files with properly linked photographs, maps, diagrams, and illustrations from shared servers
• Apply efficient InDesign workflows and keyboard shortcuts to ensure speed, accuracy, and consistency

Document Layout & Visual Quality

• Arrange photographs, maps, and diagrams into clear, balanced, and visually consistent layouts
• Maintain strong typographic discipline including alignment, spacing, hierarchy, and colour consistency
• Deliver editorial documents with high visual clarity, internal organisation, and print-ready accuracy

Collaboration & File Delivery

• Coordinate closely with the design and urban planning teams to ensure outputs meet project expectations
• Package and deliver well-structured InDesign files that allow seamless continuation by other team members
• Follow correct linked-file workflows and maintain an orderly, accessible asset library

Graphic Design Support (Secondary Responsibility)

• Provide creative input for report covers, logos, infographics, and visual identity elements when required
• Use Adobe Illustrator for diagrams, icons, and vector graphics
• Use Adobe Photoshop for image cropping, retouching, and colour/contrast adjustments
