Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Coordinate daily vessel operations, including cargo loading and discharging activities.
Liaise with port authorities, agents, terminals, bunker suppliers, and service providers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Monitor vessel schedules, voyage progress, and operational performance.
Prepare and review shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, cargo manifests, and stowage plans.
Support voyage planning activities, including bunker procurement and route optimisation.
Handle operational issues and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate operational records and internal databases.
Assist in monitoring voyage costs and operational budgets.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable maritime regulations.
Participate in initiatives to improve operational processes and efficiency.

Requirements

Degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Relevant experience in vessel operations or shipping industry preferred.
Familiarity with port operations and shipping documentation processes.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese-speaking internal and external personnel.
