Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Drone Engineer based in Chennai, with flexibility for partial remote work. The Drone Engineer will design, develop, and test drone systems, integrating UAV technologies for agricultural applications such as crop monitoring and variable rate applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include UAV programming and configuration, troubleshooting, ensuring system integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Participation in field tests and providing technical support to end-users will also be key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Experience with Drones, UAV technology, and Robotics.
- Should hold a valid Drone Pilot license
- Strong understanding of Aerospace Engineering and its application in drone technologies.
- Proficiency in Programming languages relevant to UAV systems and automation.
- Ability to work on interdisciplinary projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven problem-solving skills and hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for innovation in agriculture.
