About the Role

As a Driver Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the entire life cycle management of drivers for the city - from onboarding to exit.

Responsibilities

• Be the best bridge between driver-partners and Uncle Delivery, responsible for all sorts of communication with driver-partners.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to set and implement social media and communication campaigns, and be a representative of the company to maintain communication with our partners.
• Organize and participate in events to build loyalty, community and promote brand awareness.
• Lead various onboarding funnels - BD, digital and improve conversion % across all channels.
• Lead the driver operations team to acquire, manage and retain drivers. Find out various alternative acquisition channels and ensure there is enough supply available to meet the targets of the city.
• Demonstrate effective multi-project handling skills.
• Anticipate high-demand phases and plan driver availability accordingly.
• Anticipate process issues and proactively escalate/suggest solutions.
• Identify the training requirements for teams/drivers and organize/coordinate with marketing to arrange in-house or digital training programs for teams/drivers.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree.
• 5 years experience in driver operations in a team management role.

Required Skills

• Must be curious, proactive and have a solution oriented approach.
• You must tell an impactful story with analysis and smart data visualization, not just a number crunch.
• Analytical & Problem solving skills.
• Proficient in Advanced Excel and Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Should have led in-house retention, verification, calling and BD teams and has a strong understanding of the local driver community.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in managing driver operations.
• Familiarity with local logistics and transportation regulations.
