Job Description
- Prepare detailed fabrication, shop, and erection drawings for steel structures such as gantries, bridges, formwork, and custom fabrication works.
- Develop drawings based on approved GA drawings, design inputs, and client specifications.
- Prepare part drawings, assembly drawings, cutting lists, and BOM for workshop execution.
- Coordinate closely with design engineers, project team, and Siliguri workshop production team to ensure drawing accuracy and feasibility.
- Revise drawings as per client comments, site inputs, and internal review feedback.
- Ensure drawings comply with IS standards, quality norms, and NPEC project requirements.
- Support fabrication and machining teams by resolving drawing-related technical issues.
- Maintain proper drawing control, revision history, and documentation.
- Assist in preparation of as-built drawings after project completion.
- Use detailing software such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or equivalent.
- Ensure timely submission of drawings to avoid delays in fabrication and dispatch
