Role Description This is a full-time on-site drafting role based in Coimbatore. The Draftsperson will produce detailed architectural, structural, and interior drawings based on design concepts, sketches, and specifications provided by architects and engineers. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing 2D and 3D drawings, updating plans as designs evolve, coordinating with the design and construction teams, and ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards and project requirements. The role also involves organizing project documentation, supporting design reviews with accurate technical drawings, and collaborating closely with team members to deliver high-quality, buildable plans.
Qualifications

  • Strong technical drafting skills using CAD and other relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
  • Ability to produce clear architectural, structural, and interior drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
  • Understanding of building codes, construction materials, and basic structural and MEP coordination principles.
  • Good visualization skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and translate design concepts into technical drawings.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with architects, engineers, and site teams.
  • Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in an architectural or construction office is an advantage, especially on sustainable or green building projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain organized project documentation.
