Preferred Qualifications : ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Draftsmanship.

Job Summary

Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Draftsman / CAD Engineer responsible for preparation of detailed fabrication drawings, shop drawings, nesting drawings, and manufacturing documentation to support production and project execution activities. The role requires strong drafting accuracy, coordination with production teams, and effective revision control management.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings and manufacturing drawings.
• Generate CNC bending and nesting drawings as per production requirements.
• Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings and shop drawings.
• Ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain proper revision control and document management.
• Coordinate with the production department for manufacturing feasibility and drawing clarifications.
• Support Design and Engineering teams in BOM preparation.
• Modify and update drawings based on production feedback and project changes.
• Ensure timely release of drawings to support production schedules.
  
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• AutoCAD (Mandatory)
• SolidWorks (Preferred)
• Fabrication and shop drawing preparation
• CNC bending and nesting drawing knowledge
• Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes
• BOM support and documentation
• Revision control and drawing management
• Attention to detail and drafting accuracy
