About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Draftsman with strong expertise in heat exchanger detailing and drafting. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in preparing detailed fabrication drawings for various types of heat exchangers. This is a critical requirement for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D fabrication drawings using AutoCAD
- Develop GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOMs for heat exchangers
- Work closely with design and production teams to ensure accuracy and manufacturability
- Interpret design calculations and translate them into detailed drawings
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications
- Maintain drawing revisions and documentation control
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting heat exchangers (Shell & Tube, Air Cooled, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting is essential)
- Good understanding of fabrication practices and shop requirements
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
- Knowledge of 3D modeling tools (Inventor / SolidWorks or similar)
- Experience with other pressure vessels and static equipment
- Mechanical Strength Designing of the equipment using PVElite
