Draftsman (AutoCAD) - Salem - Whatsapp HR on 7200003809

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to prepare accurate architectural drawings and technical documentation based on designs and instructions provided by architects and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D architectural drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, site plans, and detailed drawings.
• Prepare working drawings for construction and execution.
• Convert sketches, concepts, and design inputs into accurate technical drawings.
• Make revisions and modifications to drawings based on architect/client requirements.
• Prepare door, window, furniture, staircase, and other architectural details.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP drawings.
• Maintain proper drawing standards, dimensions, annotations, and layers.
• Prepare drawings for submission/approval as required.
• Maintain and update drawing files and project documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and site teams when required.
• Visit project sites occasionally to understand site conditions and incorporate necessary changes.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and issued within project timelines.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Good knowledge of architectural drafting and construction drawings.
• Ability to understand floor plans, elevations, sections, and technical details.
• Knowledge of Revit or other drafting/BIM software will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of dimensions, scales, annotations, and drawing standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple drawings/projects.

Qualification

• Diploma / ITI / Certificate in Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.

Working time: 10 am to 6 pm. Mon- Sat working (Sunday holiday).

Work Location: Salem.

Salary: Will be matched depending on previous experience and skill set.
