Position : Draftsman / AutoCAD Operator

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or
• Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Experience

• Relevant experience as a CAD Operator / Draftsman, preferably in the civil engineering, construction, infrastructure, or engineering consultancy sector.
• Hands-on experience in preparing and modifying 2D CAD drawings.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, layouts, plans, and technical specifications.
• Experience in preparing drawings based on engineering inputs and site requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and update Civil/Structural CAD drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop detailed drawings, layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and other technical drawings as required.
• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, specifications, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with Civil Engineers, Project Engineers, and other stakeholders for drawing requirements and revisions.
• Incorporate design changes and maintain updated drawing records.
• Ensure drawings are prepared within project timelines and required quality standards.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings.
• Support the engineering/project team with drafting and drawing-related activities.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of Civil Engineering drawings and drafting standards.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Experience in infrastructure, industrial projects, construction, engineering consultancy, or inspection-related projects will be an added advantage.
