DOT NET Developer
Position Overview:
EFRAC is seeking a skilled and motivated .NET Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support laboratory operations, analytical testing workflows, data management, reporting systems, and business processes within the testing and analytical industry.
The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, experience in Microsoft technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web and desktop applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Develop and enhance applications related to laboratory information management systems (LIMS), analytical reporting, workflow automation, and data integration.
- Collaborate with business analysts, laboratory teams, QA teams, and stakeholders to understand technical and operational requirements.
- Write clean, scalable, secure, and efficient code following best practices.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of applications.
- Develop and consume REST APIs and integrate third-party systems and instruments.
- Participate in database design, development, and optimization using SQL Server.
- Conduct unit testing and support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, and processes.
- Ensure software compliance with data security, quality, and industry standards.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in .NET application development.
- Strong knowledge of:
- C#
- ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core
- MVC Architecture
- Web API / REST Services
- Entity Framework
- SQL Server
- JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Experience with Visual Studio and Git/version control systems.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with LIMS or analytical/testing industry software.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with reporting tools like SSRS or Power BI.
- Experience with microservices architecture is an advantage.
- Understanding of data security and regulatory compliance standards.
