About the Role:
We are looking for a Software Engineering Lead who can balance hands-on development, team leadership, and direct client interaction. The ideal candidate will act as a technical anchor for the team, confidently engage with client stakeholders, and drive delivery across diverse technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design and development of applications while remaining hands-on in critical modules
Serve as a primary technical point of contact for clients, participating in requirement discussions, solution walkthroughs, and technical clarifications
Translate client requirements into clear technical designs and actionable tasks for the team
Provide day-to-day technical leadership, mentoring developers and conducting code reviews
Proactively handle conflict resolution within the team and with stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization
Adapt and deliver across legacy and modern platforms, including Silverlight-based systems and newer .NET technologies
Collaborate closely with Product, QA, Architecture, and DevOps teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases
Support production issues, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Technical Skills

Strong hands-on expertise in .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and C#
Proficient in JavaScript (ECMAScript 6)
Solid experience with SQL Server (MSSQL), complex queries, and performance tuning
Strong working knowledge of LINQ
Knowledge of Silverlight and experience supporting legacy applications
Ability to work effectively across multiple platforms and technology landscapes

Leadership & Client-Facing Skills

Proven experience in client-facing roles, including technical discussions and solution presentations
Strong ability in conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and expectation setting
Effective communicator who can bridge business needs and technical execution
Experience building, mentoring, and guiding high-performing engineering teams
Adaptable leader who thrives in dynamic and diverse environments

Good to Have

Experience in application modernization or legacy-to-cloud initiatives
Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery models
Experience working with distributed or offshore teams
