JOB POSITION
- Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a highly creative and meticulous Senior Software Engineer, who will be responsible for all design requirements for our leader communications.
- Associate will report to Manager – Communications and must understand the design process, liaising with multiple stakeholders to understand the brief and deliver all in-house design requirements, apart from coordinating with external agencies to ensure brand guidelines are followed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications and services using C#, ASP.NET Core, and related frameworks for enterprise-level solutions.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend components ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Design and implement data access layers using Entity Framework and optimized SQL (Oracle and/or SQL Server).
- Build and maintain front-end components using modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Implement automated unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Deploy applications within cloud environments using CI/CD pipelines, version control, and infrastructure automation.
- Provide production support in collaboration with development and operations teams, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
QUALIFICATION
- Hands-on strong 4 – 8 years experience on core technologies mentioned
- Must have US HealthCare Domain knowledge.
- Bachelor/master's degree in computer science or a related field
Experience
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API.
- Experience building RESTful services and microservices architectures.
- Proficiency with SQL Server and/or Oracle, including performance tuning and stored procedures.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Digital.ai, Bamboo, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Enterprise or equivalent).
- Experience with Git-based version control and DevSecOps tools (e.g., SonarQube, Checkmarx One, Wiz).
- Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML).
- Expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Experience in publishing and maintaining code/services in a cloud hosted environment like Azure OR AWS.
- Experience in healthcare information technology is a plus.
- Experience using Azure DevOps Services including Boards, Pipelines and Repos.
- Experience in the healthcare industry strongly preferred.

- Clear technical communication and effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Automation-first mindset with emphasis on maintainability and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a structured delivery environment.
- Experience operating within Agile or SAFe delivery frameworks.
Skills And Competencies
- In depth knowledge of design principals.
- Excellent knowledge of TFS or GitHub along with code reviews.
- Must have knowledge in Azure OR AWS SaaS, PaaS and CI/CD dev ops.
- In depth knowledge of performance improvement.
- Knowledge of task or effort estimation.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft ASP.Net, C#, .Ado.NET, JavaScript
- Good Communication skills.
