Position: Senior .NET Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, database development, API integration, and application development.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain robust applications using .NET / .NET Core.

Develop scalable and secure web applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC/Web API.

Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party/internal services.

Work with SQL Server for database design, queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance optimization.

Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development, testing, and production environments.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA teams, UI/UX developers, and other technical teams.

Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Implement appropriate security, authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to application design and development.

Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance where required.

Required Skills

Strong experience in C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core.

Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core.

Strong knowledge of Web API / REST API development.

Good expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and database optimization.

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design principles.

Experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core.

Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web application development.

Experience with Git or other version-control systems.

Knowledge of Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and clean coding practices.

Good understanding of application security, authentication, and authorization.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

Experience with Azure / AWS or other cloud platforms.

Knowledge of Microservices architecture.

Experience with Docker / Kubernetes.

Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Exposure to React, Angular, or other modern frontend frameworks.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
