Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Domestic Education Counselor who can independently manage student counseling, lead handling, and application processes for Indian colleges and universities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a target-driven environment and managing student journeys from inquiry to enrollment.
Key Responsibilities
- Student Counseling: Counsel students and parents regarding domestic education options, courses, colleges, eligibility criteria, and career pathways.
- Lead Management: Handle inbound and outbound leads, follow up with prospective students, and convert inquiries into enrollments.
- Application Management: Manage end-to-end application processes, including form filling, documentation, and coordination with colleges/universities.
- Student Query Resolution: Address queries related to admissions, fees, timelines, and course structures with clarity and professionalism.
- CRM & Database Management: Maintain accurate student records, follow-ups, and application status using CRM tools and MS Excel.
- Excel & Reporting: Use MS Excel for data tracking, lead management, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Relationship Management: Build trust-based relationships with students and parents to ensure a smooth counseling experience.
- Target Achievement: Meet assigned counseling, conversion, and revenue targets on a daily and monthly basis.
Team Coordination:
Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely application processing and student satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 13 years of experience in domestic education counseling (preferred).
- Strong experience in student counseling, lead handling, and application management.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel (mandatory).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Comfortable working in a sales-driven and target-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including Sunday working (weekly off on a rotational basis).
- Customer-focused, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setup.
