Inviting applications for the role of Domain Trainee - Accounts Receivable & Intercompany
Responsibilities:
.Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee the collection and reconciliation of insurance receivables. Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding invoices to maintain cash flow and minimize overdue accounts.
.Intercompany Transactions: Manage intercompany billing and reconciliation processes. Ensure accurate recording and settlement of transactions between affiliated entities.
.Complex Dispute Resolution: Handle complex disputes involving multiple stakeholders, such as interfacing with legal teams or external auditors in relation to accounts receivable and intercompany inquiries.
.Financial Reporting: Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging analysis and collection forecasts. Provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
.Compliance and Controls: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls related to accounts receivable and intercompany transactions. Implement best practices to enhance compliance.
.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with finance teams, internal departments, and external partners to resolve queries and improve process efficiency. Foster strong relationships to facilitate seamless operations.
.Cross-Functional Training: Provide training sessions to finance teams and other relevant departments on accounts receivable processes, intercompany billing procedures, and compliance issues.
.Continuous Improvement - Identify and implement process efficiencies and automation opportunities to enhance accuracy and turnaround time.

Minimum Qualifications:
.Commerce Graduate / Postgraduate
.Relevant years of experience in managing Insurance Credit Control activities
.Experience in working with SAP and AR tools would be added advantage
.Experience in working with an insurance client is must

Preferred Skill Set:
.Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
.Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
.Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management
.Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
.Self-starter, with ability to work under own initiative
.Strong time management skills
.Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
