We are looking for: Software Test Engineer– (Domain Test Engineer)

You'll Make An Impact By

  • As a test professional, you will be testing electrical products and associated engineering software tools offered by SIEMENS to its customers.
  • Analyze requirements and design test cases based on user requirements specifications and system specifications.
  • Perform test execution and report bugs in the test and defect management system.
  • Perform intensive manual and automated product testing (functional and non-functional).
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum team and contribute to achieving Scrum goals; interact and exchange ideas with global teams.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn, understand, and build in-depth knowledge of the latest test automation frameworks and trends.
  • Handle customer care tickets, ensuring timely analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues reported by global users.
  • Maintain and support demo servers used by global stakeholders, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional and global teams to resolve environment-related and customer-reported issues efficiently.

Use your skills to move the world forward!

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (EE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in the electrical domain with exposure to substation automation and/or power distribution.
  • Knowledge of low-voltage products (power meters, circuit breakers, motor starters, drives, etc.).
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, IEC 61850, ION, Ethernet TCP/IP).
  • Knowledge of electrical panel arrangement, electrical schematics, single-line and multi-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
  • Knowledge of power management systems.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality and professionalism.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
