Domain Support Specialist: Transmission

Cradlepoint is seeking a proactive and skilled Domain Support Specialist: Transmission to join our 24x7 support team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in transmission technologies with strong troubleshooting skills on SIAE Microwave, NEC Microwave, ATN 910, and Huawei routers. You will play a key role in ensuring network stability and performance through timely monitoring, efficient fault resolution, and effective escalation handling within a dynamic operational environment.

What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 support for transmission network operations on a rotational shift basis, ensuring continuous network availability.
• Monitor and manage network alarms and performance using various Network Management System (NMS) tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve transmission faults across diverse platforms, including SIAE Microwave, NEC Microwave, Huawei routers, and ATN 910.
• Perform thorough root cause analysis and meticulously document incidents and their resolutions.
• Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders for efficient issue resolution and escalation management.
• Ensure strict SLA (Service Level Agreement) adherence for fault restoration and incident response times.
• Support change management activities, including planning and executing link upgrades, network cutovers, and configuration changes.
• Maintain and regularly update technical documentation and comprehensive shift handover reports.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), or Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
• Hands-on experience with SIAE Microwave and NEC Microwave systems.
• Working knowledge of Huawei routers and ATN 910 platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in transmission technologies and L2/L3 networking.
• Familiarity with NMS platforms and ticketing tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle critical incidents with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
