YOUR TASKS
Key Responsibilities – Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Classic AUTOSAR engineers across BSW, MCAL, and integration domains.
- Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews, competency assessments, and career development planning.
- Manage resource planning, task allocation, and team workload distribution.
- Act as a communication bridge between engineering teams, project management, quality, and customer-facing functions.
Key Responsibilities – Technical
- Oversee design, development, integration, and validation of Classic AUTOSAR stack components following FORVIA HELLA's engineering standards.
- Review AUTOSAR architecture, module configurations, and embedded software implementation.
- Guide the team in debugging, issue resolution, and root-cause analysis across BSW/MCAL layers.
- Drive improvements in development workflows, configurations, automation, and integration quality.
- Collaborate with global FORVIA HELLA teams to ensure alignment on architecture, platforms, and software reuse.
Project & Delivery Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of AUTOSAR BSW, MCAL, and integration artifacts.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and technical bottlenecks early, and drive mitigation actions.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Program Leads for seamless execution.
- Provide technical direction and support for customer escalations
Your Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 14+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Classic AUTOSAR (BSW modules like NVM, system safety integrity, Reset management configuration & integration).
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams (10-12 members).
- Solid understanding of automotive development processes (V-model, ASPICE, CI/CD).
- Experience with tools such as Vector DaVinci Configurator/Developer, EB Tresos, CANoe, etc.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with global engineering centers or international customer teams.
- Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) concepts and application.
- Familiarity with FORVIA HELLA development processes and quality frameworks.
- Exposure to requirement management tools (Doors) and configuration management tools (Git, PTC).
