Hiring: Power Electronics Domain Expert – PCB Design & Evaluation Framework Architect
Availability: 8 Hours/Day with 4 Hours PST Overlap

We are looking for an experienced Power Electronics Domain Expert with strong expertise in PCB Design, Power Electronics, and Evaluation Framework Development.
This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in designing power electronic circuits and evaluating PCB designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design power electronic circuits including:
- DC-DC converters (Buck/Boost)
- LDOs
- AC-DC/DC-DC power supplies
- Automotive power systems
- Develop schematics and PCB layouts using KiCad, Altium, or similar tools
- Select components based on datasheets and design requirements
- Analyze efficiency, ripple, thermal performance, and reliability
- Apply PCB design best practices including grounding, routing, EMI, and DFM
- Generate manufacturing outputs such as BOM, Gerber files, and pick-and-place data
- Conduct DRC checks, validation, simulations, and design reviews
- Build and define PCB verification and evaluation frameworks
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Power Electronics or PCB Design
- Strong understanding of DC-DC converters, LDOs, and power systems
- Experience in schematic design and PCB layout
- Knowledge of switching regulators, inductors, capacitors, and power components
- Experience with KiCad, Altium, or similar PCB tools
- Ability to interpret component datasheets
- Understanding of DRC, EMI, and manufacturability concepts
Preferred Skills:
- AC-DC power supply design
- Thermal design and power integrity
- Automotive or embedded systems exposure
- Simulation tools experience
- Experience building validation/evaluation frameworks
- Basic Python or terminal-based verification scripting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field
