Job Description

Responsibilities

Technical Support / Lookup - Look up and advise on technical specifications (such as reference numbers, alternatives, etc.) of parts for the assigned very complex products and / or brands and address customer technical questions in order to facilitate the sales process and to provide direct technical support to sales teams, product development teams and other internal stakeholders.

Sample Analysis / QA - Analyze samples of parts for the assigned very complex or escalated products and / or brands to review whether they meet the set quality standards and advice/report out to the relevant internal stakeholders.

Item management - Create relations (crosses) with other items, assign category IDs to newly created items and update technical information and product-compliance information for the assigned products and / or brands, in line with procedures in order to maintain the lifecycle of the assigned product / brand items.

Data Management - Maintain and update product/brand -related data, ensuring accuracy and consistency within the organization's systems. Assist in data analysis and reporting to support product and brand development efforts.

(Personal) Capability Building - Acquire and maintain excellent technical knowledge for the parts for the clearly defined product and / or brand range. Stay up-to-date with relevant technologies, industry trends, and product specifications. Contribute to the maintenance and expansion of the organization's technical knowledge base.

Projects - Participate in assigned projects (related to technical advice), in accordance with project management guidelines, to contribute to the effectiveness and realisation of projects.

Functional leadership - Coach/train more experienced colleagues, act as the go-to person for all questions related to his/her expertise (product/brand). Monitor and review the performance of the team on a regular basis by analyzing data and reviewing work. Act as domain coordinator.

Process improvements - Proactively seeks and implements process optimisations in his/her area of expertise.

Continuous improvement - Review existing work processes in the team and provide support with the implementation of new ways of working. Make suggestions to optimize workflow processes and encourage team members to do this as well. Lead by example.
