The Opportunity

Reporting to the TSS (Technical Success Services) Practice Manager, the Sr. Cloud Applications Consultant is part of the technical managed services team, responsible for end-to-end technical delivery, including administration and management of the OpenText Documentum product suite for global customers.

We are seeking a technically resourceful professional with the ability to deliver exceptional customer experience in a challenging and rewarding environment.

You will join a growing team providing world-class operational support, including hands-on troubleshooting and administration for enterprise customers, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure service level commitments and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved.

What It Takes

  • Strong hands-on experience in administering and managing the OpenText Documentum platform
  • Experience with core Documentum components: D2, Content Server, xPlore, CTS, D2-REST, DFS, DFC, BOF, DQL, and Documentum Administrator
  • Good-to-have:
    • Documentum Life Sciences modules Q&M and R&D
    • InfoArchive and/or Core for Capital Projects
  • Experience managing Documentum in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including containerized deployments
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
  • Experience supporting incident, problem, change, and release management within an ITIL-based service delivery model
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming, web services, LDAP, and RDBMS concepts
  • Working knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills in fast-paced, globally distributed environments
  • Relevant experience: 58 years

  • Representing OpenText professionally in all interactions with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrating strong customer focus, empathy, and clear written and verbal communication
  • Responding to and solving customer technical requests, showing an understanding of the customer's managed hosted environment and applications within the OpenText Cloud, enabling resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Operating, administering, and maintaining production Documentum applications in accordance with defined policies and procedures
  • Monitoring applications, infrastructure, and services; troubleshooting alerts to ensure service level agreement (SLA) compliance
  • Managing incidents, problems, changes, and releases within an ITIL-aligned service delivery model
  • Collaborating with Product Support, Cloud Operations, Network, and cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Maintaining accurate operational documentation, status reporting, and stakeholder communication
  • Providing knowledge sharing, guidance, and mentoring to team members and customers as required
  • Escalating risks, issues, and deviations in a timely manner and supporting continuous operational improvement

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (required).
  • Preferred certifications:
    • Documentum certification
    • ITIL (Foundation or higher)
    • Any Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
