Role & Responsibilities:
The Audit Engagement Support Professional will assist Audit Practitioners in completing documentation tasks for Deloittes client audit engagements. Key responsibilities include:
- Create, draft, format, edit, and finalize complex business documents such as financial statements, audit reports, proposals, engagement letters, and other client deliverables.
- Ensure quality work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and client expectations.
- Maintain consistency of format, grammar, and attention to detail.
- Assess work to determine best practices for efficient and accurate document completion.
- Interact with stakeholders for clarifications or approvals before proceeding with documentation.
- Collaborate with peers, SMEs, and Audit practitioners to ensure adherence to process and quality standards.
- Be flexible to switch responsibilities and adapt to evolving business needs.
Work Schedule:
- Rotational 9-hour shifts between 5:30 AM and 11 PM (IST), roster changes quarterly.
- Flexible support for overtime during busy season, especially to assist Canadian clients.
Preferred Candidate Profile / Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree (B.Com / BBA / M.Com / MBA).
- 12 years of work experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance.
- Familiarity with financial and accounting terminologies.
- Basic to advanced knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
